'Tis the season for fun and cheer! 🎄 Let's keep our school year strong by maintaining good routines and consistent attendance. A little extra effort now means more holiday fun later! 🎅 #ksdstudentsfirst

Happy Thanksgiving!

When children and teens regularly attend school in person, they’re more likely to develop their whole selves—personally, socially, academically, and emotionally. They’re routinely able to connect with friends and adults, collaborate and problem-solve, make decisions, think critically, be creative, and engage in hands-on learning. In other words, showing up matters! #ksdstudentsfirst

KSD Veteran's Day Assembly Schedules

Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Did you know…
📌 Students can still fall behind academically if they miss just 1 or 2 days every few weeks. 📌 Absences and tardiness can affect the whole classroom if the teacher has to slow down learning to help students catch up.
📌 Missing school impacts a student’s sense of belonging.

Help your young student build relationships, establish healthy routines and safeguard early learning by focusing on regular attendance. Did you know?: Even one or two absences every two weeks can affect a young learner’s ability to gain reading and math skills and build social relationships. Helping them show up to learn is the best way to give them a solid foundation to build on. #ksdstudentsfirst

Upcoming volleyball clinics in Wallace for girls grades K-10

The district wide average attendance this week was 94.09%! Way to go!
Too many absences – excused or unexcused – can keep students from feeling a sense of belonging and ultimately succeeding in school.
Please help your child prioritize attendance this year. #ksdstudentsfirst
