Due to high winds, Silver Mountain is closed today 2/25/25. The 8th grade ski trip is canceled. If it is rescheduled, a new date will be announced.

Our attendance update is in! We've noticed a lot of sniffles and coughs going around this week. With the 4-day weekend ahead, let's all prioritize rest and recuperation. Reminder! No school Monday, February 17th


The KMS 8th grade girls finished up their season on Saturday with 2 wins over Priest River and 1 over Kootenai Classical Academy. The girls ended the district tournament on a win to take 3rd and finish with an overall record of 11-3. The future is bright for these players next year, and congrats on a great year!


Now it's the boys team's chance to dazzle after the great job the girls gave in their seasons.

The 8th grade girls played their last home game of the season on Tuesday, beating the Timberlake Tigers 28-23. It was a back and forth game, and it took all 7 girls to get the win for a total team effort. The girls were led in scoring by Gretah Angle with 21 points, followed by Bailey Schierman with 4 and Zoey Waldo with 3.
The girls played their last regular season game on Thursday, beating St. Maries by a score of 45-27. They were led in scoring by Gretah Angle with 20 points, followed by Bailey Schierman with 11, Emma Ruppert with 8, and Macie Glindeman, Kaitlyn Moe, and Naomi Miller with 2 each. The girls finish their season at Districts in Priest River this weekend.

2 Hour Delay 2/5/25
All bus routes will be delayed 2 hours. Questions regarding when a bus will be picking up can be referred to the bus garage (208-784-0061).
School start time will be exactly 2 hours later than usual. THERE WILL BE NO AM PRESCHOOL
Breakfast will not be served in any of the buildings today. Lunch will be served at the normal times.
School will be released at regular dismissal time.
Decisions to hold after school programs & extra-curricular activities will be made at the building level and will be communicated to students and parents as soon as the decision is made.
